Commercial vehicle giant SINOTRUK gathered over nine hundred international partners for its New Energy Partners Conference under the theme WE LEAP WE LINK WE LEAD, signaling a major push toward sustainable transport across Southeast Asia and global trade corridors. For contractors, project managers, and logistics operators watching the heavy equipment space, the global event highlighted how rapidly zero-emission technology is moving from a distant concept into practical, job-site-ready machinery.

The company backed up its green road map with massive growth numbers from the first half of 2026. SINOTRUK reported 11 billion dollars in revenue and over 272,000 total vehicle sales, driven largely by 196,000 heavy-duty trucks sold worldwide. In China alone, they moved 25,000 new energy heavy trucks, securing the top spot in domestic sales and establishing a strong baseline as they scale these low-carbon fleets across international markets.

Regional government and industry backing was front and center, with key stakeholders welcoming the introduction of electric trucks, smart charging solutions, and dedicated service infrastructure. Representatives noted that as modernizing economies update their transport and construction sectors, bringing in clean technology that meets tough local site conditions will be essential. To support this transition, SINOTRUK President Liu Wei promised full access to the brand’s global research capabilities, microgrid charging setups, digital management tools, and specialized aftermarket support.

A main highlight of the conference was the unveiling of S-EV, SINOTRUK’s new dedicated brand identity for sustainable commercial vehicles. Alongside the new logo, the company showcased 26 new energy models spanning battery electric, range-extended, and hydrogen fuel cell powertrains. These vehicles are tailored to cover heavy-duty real-world scenarios that matter directly to the building sector, including urban construction logistics, mining haulage, port operations, and last-mile material delivery.

Addressing the financial side of fleet management, SINOTRUK focused heavily on helping overseas partners manage electricity access, charging methods, and total operating reliability. By offering complete ecosystem support rather than just selling standalone trucks, the manufacturer aims to lower ownership costs and make switching away from traditional diesel practical for heavy transport operators. As major development projects across Asia prioritize lower carbon footprints, this move marks a significant step toward cleaner, high-capacity fleet power for the future of construction.
